Introduction to filmmaking
Students will work to create their own movie which will be highlighted at the end of the class. They will receive step by step instructions on how to use cameras, acting, time management, public speaking and how to write a script.
Sewing
Ages: 12-18

Beginners sewing class
Students will learn basic sewing skills while becoming familiar with the machine. Students will learn how to read a pattern and make the following projects pillows, aprons, skirts, and crossbody bags while attending the class.
Music
Ages: 4-11

Beginners piano and recorder class
Students will learn basic skills for the piano and recorder including posture, finger placement, basic piano chords. They will develop musical skills through group and individual activities.
Cake Decorating
Ages: 12-18
Instructor: Norma McDowell
Students will learn how to level a pre-baked cake, apply a crumb coat for a smooth finish and learn how to make butter cream frosting. They will learn how to fill and use a piping bag and various techniques such as rosettes, stars, basket weave, and edge designs on cakes. Students will know how to decorate cakes that will express their creativity and personalize cakes for special occasions.

Ages: 4-11

Introduction to Painting
Artist will learn about the painting fundamentals, so that they can create amazing works of art. Artist will practice different ways they can use paint. For example: textures, stamping, patterns, and more. This is a chance to explore with paint and seeing what one can do with the medium. Artist will be instructed on the principles of design and elements of art. This is so that students will start working on their final pieces to show to friends and family.
